DELUXE FIRST EDITION VOLUME
Introducing David Delamare’s deluxe, slip-cased volume of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The book features 96 color illustrations. Thirty-four of the images are based upon traditional oil paintings by David Delamare (all available as prints in our galleries). Sixty-two images are pencil drawings by Delamare, later colored digitally by Delamare and Wendy Ice.
The historically authentic text was carefully researched and discussed by scholar Selwyn H. Goodacre, Wendy Ice, and an international team of volunteer proofreaders.
The innovative layout features at least one illustration on every page spread of the story and page breaks that are designed to facilitate reading aloud.
Artist David Delamare died unexpectedly in September 2016. His widow, Wendy Ice (who designed, co-edited, and published the book) will sign your copy unless you specify in the comments box that you would prefer to leave it un-signed.
